Our bitter aperitif is handcrafted in the Chiemgau Alps according to an original Italian recipe. Fruity citrus aromas meet the spice of alpine herbs – this is how this first German organic amaro gets its unique taste. Mondino is Bavarian craftsmanship paired with Italian joie de vivre.

The fruity bitter oranges typical of Mondino come from the Amalfi Coast and Spain. They are always fermented fresh when they have reached their ideal ripeness. Fresh rhubarb gives our Mondino a pleasantly tart flavor. Yellow gentian from the Alps gives it its spicy-tart note, and hibiscus blossoms lend it its beautiful red color. These exquisite ingredients combine with Bavarian spring water—considered some of the finest in Europe—for a full-bodied delight.
